日本ではすでに浸透されてる、モナコ出身のとってもキュートなジュエリーブランド “Miss Bibi”。 パリに行くたびに有名なスタイリストやプレス、バイヤーなどが身につけているのが目撃される。Palais Royaleにフラッグシップストアを構えるシックなブランドなんだ。先週末にSuper A Marketで行われているポップアップストアで彼女と再会!! とっても楽しい時間を過ごしたよ。
I guess I am the last person in Japan to have heard about Miss Bibi, the super cute and super chic jewellery brand from Monaco. Every time I go to Paris, all the most fabulous Japanese stylists, press and buyers are always wearing it. And everyone I know regularly pops by the fabulous flagship store in the Palais Royale – how chic! So it was great to catch up with Bibi herself at her pop-up store in Super A Market in Aoyama this weekend. It’s such a small world!

彼女のファンタジーな世界観から生み出されるリアリティ溢れるジュエリー達。一つ一つ見入ってしまうほど繊細な作りになっている。彼女のシグネチャーアイテムでもあるヒールのリング、ストローはラグジュアリーなネックレスに。耳から垂れ下がるシャンデリアはとっても綺麗。皆が笑顔になる様な彼女らしいSuper A Marketのディスプレイもとっても見応えがあるよ!!
Miss Bibi specialises in jewellery based in her own fantasy world, with a basis in reality. Everything is shrunk and played with: high heels are miniaturized on rings; plastic drinking straws are made into luxurious necklaces; and shrunk-down chandeliers hang from earrings. It’s all so super fun and addictive! And her display at Super A Market is so fabulous and playful. It always brings a smile to my face!
彼女のライフスタイルが映し出されているジュエリー達。子供が遊ぶファンタジー広がるおもちゃや、ドールハウスを思い出させるんだ。とはいってもどれもこれも全て簡単にスタイリングに取り入れる事ができるアクセサリー達!! 近くで見てみるとその繊細さが皆にも伝わるはず!!
I love Bibi’s fun personal style, which she brings to every piece of jewellery. It always reminds me of a child’s toy cabinet, or a doll’s house, but everything is wearable. And because all of the jewellery is so tiny, it deserves a close-up!
ハイヒールや、パールナンバーのシリーズは彼女のお気に入りで、毎シーズン作っているんだ。もしかしたらブログを読んでる皆はもう身につけているかもしれないね。
