昨年10月に、パリで観させて頂いたCHANEL 2014SSのコレクションを間近でみることができた。
このコレクションは個人的にすごく想いがあって、なぜならパリで初めてみたCHANELのショーだからだ。

会場の大きさ、トップモデルの多さ、セレブリティの数と質、ゲストのファッション、そしてなによりも会場内に
展示されていたCHANELのモダンアートがミュージアムみたいだった。
その全てをこの目でみることができ、世界一のブランドであることを改めて再確認させられた。
I had a chance to see and touch the CHANEL 2014SS collection in Tokyo.
This was the first collection that I see in Paris so this collection is very special for me.

Technically the show was CHANEL modern art museum.
ドレスの中でももっともアイコンであるこのカラフルなカラーパレットプリントは、
実際にカール様の絵の具のカラーパレットからインスパイアされ、贅沢にプリントされたピースである。
遠目でみるとカラフルなレンガにみえるが、近くでみるとカラートーンがグラデーションされた
カラーパレットというのがわかる。
The most iconic dress is the color pallet inspired dress.
This was Karl’s actual color pallet that he used in the past and they printed on dress, swim wear etc.
アクセサリーの中でも最も目立ったのは、この巨大パールのチョーカーである。
僕がつけても、ヘッドホンみたいでフェミニンすぎないところが気に入った。
Who are not obsessed with this giant pearl choker?
I can pull it off, no?
メタリックになって再登場した定番の BOY CHANELから、立体的な花がついたエスパドリューも人気がでそう。
このコレクションに想いがありすぎて、最近Jed Rootに所属した
NY在住の僕の大好きなイラストレーターMitja Bokunと僕のNumero Tokyoブログでコラボレーションをしてみた。
このイラストをみてもらおう。
まさに、このコレクションにぴったりなイラストだと僕は思っている。

4hとHB鉛筆で描き、カラーインクでスプラッシュしたイラスト。
今にも紙から飛び出してCHANELソックスブーツを履いて、
ランウェイを歩き出しそうなほどディテールがすっごく細かく美しい。
今回のコレクションで全てのルックに使われたソックスブーツがポイントとなっている。
これがそのインスパイアされたルック。
He use 4h and HB pencil and splash some colored ink to create this art.
Feels like this girl is going to come out from the canvas to walk the runway with her elegant CHANEL socks boots.
そしてそんなMitja Bokunから僕へのとても嬉しいプレゼントが。
僕と、2014SSからのワンルックとカール様とスリーショットのイラストを頂いた。
贅沢にも彼直筆の”CHANEL ART”が書かれている。
本当にありがたい。
