Maryland institute college of art(アメリカで一番古くからある美大)でオンラインレクチャーをやることになりました。
海外美大でレクチャーやるのもオンラインレクチャーも初なので凄い緊張してます。
そもそも時間差を1時間ミスりそうになっていただけでなく、昼と夜を間違えていたり。
諸々と要確認しましたが、それでもまだハラハラしてます。
MICAはモリス・ルイスやジェフ・クーンズなどの出身校らしいです。ここの校舎にあるデジタルセンターの建築もとても格好よくて、いつか訪れてみたいと思っていた場所でした。

そして通訳をしてくれるchrisは日本文学にも精通している、言葉のスペシャリスト。
先週、カナダのヨーク大学で行われている研究のインタビューを受けたのですが、その時も彼に通訳をしてもらいました。
私よりも日本語が上手という。。

I will be giving a lecture at the Maryland institute college of art on Wednesday at 12:30pm EST.
MICA is the oldest art college in the U.S., and I heard that Morris Lewis and Jeff Koons studied there. The architecture of the digital center in the school building was also very cool, and I’ve always wanted to visit this place someday.
I would like to thank Christina for giving me this opportunity and my interpreter, chris, who is a language specialist with a background in Japanese literature.
Last week, I had an interview with a researcher at York University in Canada, and he was my translator for the interview.
