ドイツのパフォーマンスコレクティブに私も参加しました。
ゴーストシアターで９/９にプレミア公開されたM/EATはブレヒトの「屠殺場の聖ヨハンナ」（１９３０）をモチーフにしてます。音楽はオペラや豚テクノなど。
今回、これに参加するので久しぶりに安彦良和さんの「ジャンヌ・ダルク」を読み返しました。昔読んだときとは速攻で爆睡してたのですが、今回は”ジャンヌのやったことの意味と無意味”に涙。。ジャンヌが処刑されてから10年後のお話です。
ブレヒトの”屠殺場の聖ヨハンナ”はタイトルが素晴らしすぎるのでジャンヌと照らし合わせて読んでしまうけど、それよりは世界恐慌時代のシカゴってこんな感じだったのか、、と思って読んだ方がわかりやすいかも？です。
M/EATは約５０分くらい。私は後半あたりに登場してます。

I was part of the German performance collective.M/EAT, which premiered Sept. 9 at the Ghost Theatre, is inspired by Brecht’s “St. Johanna of the Stockyards”, 1930 . It has opera and pig techno playing.

It’s a 50-minute ghost concert in a ghost theater. I’m in it around the second half of the show.
M/EAT is a neo-Brechtian play.
